On Friday, in cooperation with the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, County Executive Chris Collins visited Pfannenberg for a tour of the facility. Collins cited Pfannenberg as a shining example of a business that is growing and creating jobs within the Western New York area. "Pfannenberg could be the poster child for positive growth here in Erie County," Collins said. "It's private-sector jobs that are pushing us forward in Erie County."

In his visit that lasted nearly an hour, Collins learned of the forward-thinking principles, such as Six Sigma, which Pfannenberg uses to keep its' manufacturing efficient and business constantly growing. He also learned about the individual products and listened intently as assembly-line workers spoke about their jobs and company executives about the different aspects of the business.
