In lieu of Christmas gifts to clients in 2009, Pfannenberg made a donation of € 10,000 to the Löwenhaus Centre for children. Owner Andreas Pfannenberg and other members of the staff visited the Löwenhaus Centre in Hamburg, Germany, on December 16th and helped the children to make Christmas star decorations, candles, and small gifts for their families. The Löwenhaus Centre provides children with hot meals and assistance with their homework. It is run by the German charity Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (The Workers Samaritan Foundation) and functions as a drop-in
center for children ages 6 to 14 who come from disadvantaged families.
