Pfannenberg to Sponsor Buffalo Brewfest

Pfannenberg Inc. is teaming up with Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center as a sponsor for this year's Buffalo Brewfest. The event this year is scheduled for Friday, August 6th from 5:00pm – 9:00pm and will again be held at the HSBC Arena. This is the first year Buffalo BrewFest will be held on a Friday night.
This year’s Buffalo BrewFest will feature more than 100 special craft brews from around the world. Brewers will be set up across the two floors of the HSBC Arena atrium and outside in the Arena courtyard. Food will be available from a menu specially prepared for the event featuring beer-inspired items. Buffalo’s own, Black Widow Band, will provide music.

“With the great brewing companies already signing up and moving the event to a Friday night, we are excited with the plans for the 2010 BrewFest.” commented Joe Cozzo, President/CEO for Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center. “We have asked our brewers to prepare special beers, brews you cannot get anywhere else, just for our event. This will make this year’s event the best yet and with only 3500 tickets available, we expect it will sell out quickly.”
Only 3500 tickets can be sold for the event, because of the space limitations in the HSBC Arena atrium. Tickets to the event are $25 pre-sale and $35 the day of the event. Admission price includes a souvenir sampling glass and 20 tickets to taste and enjoy microbrews from the more than 100 brewers. Buffalo BrewFest tickets will go on sale starting Friday, May 28th at all area Consumers Beverages locations and at Tickets.com.
All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center Foundation. Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center, a not-for-profit organization, is a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment center for children and adults with learning deficits, speech-language difficulties, and hearing problems. The Center employs more than 300 staff members, including full and part time licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, Audiologists, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Social Workers, Psychologists, Special Education Teachers and Teacher Aides.
