Project Engineer
Pfannenberg is looking for a strong individual to lead the development and testing of new standard and custom refrigeration products. Must possess a firm understanding of P-H diagrams related to R134a and R404a, as well as how to size and select pump & flow and sizing and selecting refrigeration components.
BS Mechanical Engineering/ Technology, with experience drafting in SolidWorks 2007-10.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing project from development phase thru manufacturing for refrigeration products,
maintaining projects budget and deadlines. - Selection of refrigeration components for packaged refrigeration systems
based on customer's needs. - Creation of solid model assemblies, electrical and piping diagrams.
- Utilizing quality system to improve efficiency of design and manufacturing.
- Working with Purchasing to identify cost effective components for new designs.
- Managing external testing and identify improvements to design based on results.
- Developing internal testing protocol for manufacturing
- Providing technical support for application sales and service.
Applications Engineer
We are looking for the right person for a technical sales position. This applications engineer will be responsible for working with current and potential customers to develop an understanding of specific cooling applications and to apply the appropriate Pfannenberg chiller products and options. Working as the link between our technical engineering staff and our field & factory based sales force, this position will require a working knowledge of packaged, refrigeration-based cooling equipment and a creative "can-do" attitude. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and excellent written & verbal communication skills, as well as a high proficiency in the MS Office.
